Dave Lemus, MBA
Vice President, Finance
Dave Lemus joined Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in July 2011 as Vice President of Finance.
Prior to Sigma-Tau, Dave served as Executive V.P. and Chief Financial Officer of MorphoSys AG, one of Europe’s leading biotechnology companies in Germany. Dave’s background includes extensive international experience including the functions of finance, corporate development, investor and public relations, corporate legal and technical operations. Before MorphoSys, Dave was employed by Hoffmann-LaRoche as Controller and Operations manager; preceding this position he served as Treasurer of the Lindt Chocolate Company and worked also at Electrolux AB in the US and Europe.
Dave holds an M.S. /M.B.A. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University in Maryland. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the USA.
Presently Dave is the Board Chairman of Proteros GmbH, located in Munich, Germany, and also serves as a non-executive board member of Axela, Inc. based in Toronto, Canada.
